Battlegrounds Mobile India, popularly known as BGMI, has been released on the Google Play Store for Android users. The game can now be downloaded, and preloading started on May 27. Multiplayer gameplay will be accessible from May 29. Krafton, the game developer, mentioned that some users have already received automatic updates as part of the preload process.
Along with the game release, Krafton announced a marketing campaign called “India Ki Heartbeat,” which aims to highlight the emotional connection players have with BGMI.
For iOS users, the release date for Battlegrounds Mobile India is scheduled for May 29. The Play Store listing showcases new features, including events with permanent premium rewards, a new tropical map called Nusa, a new season, the Stygian Liege X-suit, and exciting terrains and vehicles.
The game has received positive reviews on the Play Store, with a rating of 4.4 stars from 4.81 million reviews and over 50 million downloads. Sean Hyunil Sohn, the CEO of Krafton India, expressed excitement about the release and extended gratitude to the authorities and players for their support.
To ensure a seamless gaming experience, Krafton plans to stagger the availability and playability of Battlegrounds Mobile India, allowing users to enjoy uninterrupted action on the battlegrounds starting from May 29.
