Insta360 Go 3 launches compact action camera

Insta360 unveiled its Go 3 action camera, claiming it to be the world’s smallest of its kind. The device was launched on June 27 and is priced at $449.99 in the US. Weighing a mere 35 grams, the camera offers advanced features like gimbal-like stabilization and 360-degree horizon leveling.

The Insta360 Go 3 can record videos in up to 2.7K resolution and has a battery life of approximately 45 minutes on a single charge. Users have the option to extend the recording time by pairing the camera with the Action Pod, which provides up to 170 minutes of recording time per charge. The detachable multi-function action pod also enables remote control and live preview functionality.

Designed for durability, the Insta360 Go 3 boasts an IPX8 rating for enhanced water resistance. It comes with a replaceable lens guard for added protection. The action pod itself is rated IPX4.

To further enhance the user experience, Insta360 has introduced several accessories for the Go 3. These include a magnetic pendant, a pivot stand, and an easy clip that allows users to attach the camera to a cap or other objects. The Insta360 app is available for download on both Android and iOS devices, enabling easy on-the-go editing of captured footage.

The Insta360 Go 3 Action Camera is now available in select markets and comes in three storage options: 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. The base model standalone bundle, which includes 32GB of internal storage, is priced at $449.99 in the US.
